Booking terms and conditions
Last updated: 31 October 2026. Please read these terms before paying. Your checkout summary and confirmation identify the date, both journey times, passenger count and total price agreed for your booking. New online bookings are currently subject to the availability shown in the booking form; these terms do not themselves open bookings.
1. The transport and its operator
This is pre-booked Salisbury to Stonehenge return transport, not a hop-on service. Premier Taxis Salisbury takes and manages bookings. For journeys by private-hire vehicle, it acts as the licensed private-hire operator. Where a licensed hackney carriage is used, it arranges the journey with the licensed driver or proprietor. Premier Taxis Salisbury remains your contact for booking enquiries and problems. Culture Coffee is the check-in point, not the transport operator.
2. Booking, passengers and payment
Both the outbound and return journeys must have confirmed seats before a return booking is accepted. On dates opened for online booking, the current return fare is £15.00 for each passenger, including every child or infant: each person counts towards the vehicle capacity. The seats offered for each journey depend on the licensed capacity of the vehicle or vehicles available, existing bookings and the seats opened for sale. If a time is not bookable for your group, you can request more seats on the booking page so we can check whether a suitable vehicle or additional seats can be arranged. A request does not reserve seats or guarantee a booking. Optional luggage storage is £5.00 per bag. The full price is shown before payment and the amount on the accepted booking is retained if prices later change. Payment is processed by Stripe. A booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds and the operator issues a booking confirmation; a checkout page alone is not confirmation.
We do not provide child seats. If your child needs one, you are responsible for bringing and fitting a suitable seat. Contact us before booking if you need to check whether your seat can be used in the vehicle assigned to your journey.
3. Check-in, boarding and luggage
Check in at Culture Coffee, 67–69 Fisherton Street, Salisbury. Board on Chapel Place, in the alley in front of the café, at ///riots.counts.veal. Attend in time for the departure stated in your confirmation. Your return from Stonehenge Visitor Centre is at the specific confirmed time; you cannot take any other vehicle or return slot without an accepted amendment.
If your booked return is 17:40, the final standard return offered for new online bookings, we may offer an earlier shared pickup only if every group booked on that return agrees and we confirm the replacement time with you. Your confirmed 17:40 time remains in force unless that happens. For another return arrangement, use booking help and contact us on WhatsApp or at bookings@stonehenge.direct. A separate journey, if available, needs its own agreed fare and driver confirmation; it is not included in your existing booking.
Large bags are not included in the transport fare. Where offered and accepted, luggage storage is a separate £5.00-per-bag service sold by us and provided at Culture Coffee on our behalf. The storage charge is shown separately before payment and included in your total when selected. Staff will confirm receipt of each bag and the collection arrangement at check-in.
4. Changes requested by the passenger
You may request a different outward departure without a request fee. The operator will check the available vehicle and seats; sending a request does not change your booking. You may also request another return time, but it is not guaranteed. For bookings made under these terms, if seats are available in a vehicle already arranged for that return, an accepted change costs £5.00 per booking. The exact charge and new return time must be shown before you accept and pay; your original time remains booked until the change is confirmed. If a separate vehicle is needed, we will give you an individual quote and will not arrange or charge for it without your acceptance. Earlier bookings remain subject to the terms agreed when they were made. A request involving only some members of a group must identify exactly who is moving.
5. Cancellations and no-shows
If you cancel after we have committed a vehicle and driver, there is normally no refund: we generally still pay the driver for the whole journey, regardless of how many passengers travel. Contact us promptly so we can try to reduce that loss. If we can avoid a cost or resell your seat, we will refund the amount saved or recovered. We will keep no more than our genuine direct loss, up to the price you paid, and explain the calculation on request. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
If you fail to attend a confirmed departure or return through your own fault, after the vehicle and driver have been made available, the fare for that missed journey will normally not be refunded. This does not apply if we fail to provide the agreed transport, and it does not affect your statutory rights. If we cannot provide the booked journey, we will offer a suitable alternative for your acceptance or refund the affected service.
6. Timetable changes and contact details
Traffic, road closures, accidents, severe weather, Stonehenge Visitor Centre closure or other unforeseen circumstances may require us to adjust a pickup or drop-off time or location. We will take reasonable steps to tell you as soon as practicable and provide a reasonable alternative where possible. If a material change means we cannot provide the agreed service, your rights to an alternative or refund are not removed by this clause.
You must provide an accurate, usable telephone number and email address, keep them up to date, and check for operational messages before travelling. WhatsApp and email may need an internet connection; if you cannot receive them during your visit, contact us in advance about another way to stay informed. Please attend the confirmed or subsequently agreed meeting point and time.
7. Safety and conduct
Follow reasonable safety instructions from the driver. We may refuse or end travel where a person's behaviour creates a genuine safety risk for passengers, the driver or the vehicle. Where appropriate, a serious incident may be reported to the police or relevant licensing authority. Any decision about a refund will take account of the circumstances and your legal rights.
8. In-vehicle recording
Some assigned vehicles may use CCTV or dashcams for safety and security. The operator will provide appropriate notice of recording and the relevant privacy information. Audio recording is not part of the standard service. If you have concerns about being recorded, contact us before booking so we can explain the arrangements for the vehicle that may be assigned. Choosing not to book is always your option; booking does not waive your data-protection rights.
9. Admission and contact
Stonehenge admission is not included in the transport fare and must be arranged separately. For bookings, changes, cancellations or complaints, email bookings@stonehenge.direct. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
