Visitor tips

Photographing Stonehenge on a Salisbury day trip

Plan photography around the attraction’s permitted access, daylight and the return time printed on your transport booking.

Plan your journey

Check Stonehenge admission, opening and access arrangements with English Heritage for your actual date. Our transport booking is separate and has a specified outward departure and paired return.

For current Stonehenge admission, opening, access and visitor facilities, check the official English Heritage Stonehenge page for your date.

Planning this part of your visit

The visitor route and any special access are controlled by English Heritage. Check its current photography rules and event arrangements, particularly if you use professional equipment. Our standard transport booking does not include private access to the stones.

Where to meet us

Check in at Culture Coffee, 67–69 Fisherton Street, Salisbury. Board your booked vehicle on Chapel Place, in the alley in front of the café, at ///riots.counts.veal.

Premier Taxis Salisbury operates the transport. Culture Coffee is the check-in point, not the transport operator. Each new booking has a specified outward departure and paired return from Stonehenge Visitor Centre.

If you need a different return or a separate vehicle, contact us to check availability and agree the price before you travel. Your confirmation takes precedence for an existing journey; contact us if it still lists an older meeting point.
